It is a dark green cultivar that was selected for drought tolerance.  Rain Dance has shown excellent salt tolerance and summer turf performance.  Rain Dance is tolerant to brown patches, gray leaf spots, net blotch, stem rust, and crown rust.  Rain Dance performs well in sun or shade.
